A bit ago I posted something about a shell wrapper I've written. It can
be found at http://www.hardrock.org/software/misc/

This can be used as a layer of abstraction between your database and
shells on the various systems (Tru64, SunOS, Linux, etc). So if
your shell is normally /bin/stdsh, on the Tru64 systems that can execute
/usr/local/bin/bash, and on the Linux systems execute /bin/bash.
