Re: address book question

Greetings Julio,

When I do a get info or double click on the card, t5he netscape browser
open up and trys to do a search form this url;

http://dirsearch.com/cgi-bin/member_lookup.cgi?......then what ever I
requested.

This of course is not where i want my search to go. How can I change this??

What you want seems to be done in Netscape by providing in the address
book window hyperlinks of the form ldap://.... When you click on them,
the LDAP URL is parsed and a request is made to the server. So this is
probably where the problem lies, either Netscape is getting confused by
your DN's or you are hitting a bug in that area in OpenLDAP.

>What are your DN's like? Any bizarre character in them?
Nope

>Can you quote the exact error? Is the request sent to the server?

"the server has encountered an internal error which prevents it from
fullfilling your request. the most likely cause is a misconfiguration.
Please ask the server administrator to look for messages in the server log."

>Anything in the server log?
Nope, it necer hits the LDAP server, ( unless Im reading the wrong log file ).
