slapadd is a bulkloading tool and ALOT faster than ldapadd... Remember to
shutdown your slapd before running it though! It is found in the
[OpenLDAP_dir]/sbin

Make sure your database directory and your BDB log files are located on separate hard drives. Also upgrade to 2.1.21.
