Pls help: access control by attribute

Hi there,

I'd like to know if it's possible to define acls based on certain attribute, 
e.g. I want to define an acl so that only certain dn's can access entries 
which have attribute uid=1234.* ?

Besides, assuming such acl control exists.  For an entry with uid=123456 and
cn="Foo Bar", will the acl also in effect when accessing the entry with
filter 'cn="Foo .*"' ?

Would anyone pls help ?
