feature this would be. slaptest doesn't cut it, unfortunately. The
beta doesn't need to wait on the enhancement of course, but I think it
would be good to have (and documented) before 2.3 goes public.
I guess we could create a new "slapconvert" tool, but basically any of
the slap tools that starts up the backends will do the trick. slapacl
works for me as a quickie. It looks like slaptest ought to startup a
database but doesn't.
