Forget about the new ITS, if this wroks; I think
I've found the bug, which, as I expected, was not
in the glue stuff, but in back-ldap.  I assumed
the "3D" in the suffix was a mistake, and by using
"c=RU" as suffix for the ldap database I could
reproduce the error you noticed.  The fix in HEAD
should work; look at file

	servers/slapd/back-ldap/search.c
