Yes, it is possible.

You have several choices:
1. create a primary database with suffix dc=domain,dc=net and attach
   the other databases as subordinate databases.
2. attach this 2 databases to a meta backend.
3. you may have a look at man slapd-relay(5).

But none of these have any influence on index efficiency.
