It is always advised to keep the BDB logs on a separate drive/spool.  You 
don't state how many DNs are in your database, so there's no way to say 
whether or not your cachesize/idlcachesize settings are valid.  Your 
DB_CONFIG setting seems fine, although 1GB cache for a 48MB size DB is a 
bit overkill.
