Hi,

I have an OpenLDAP directory running 2.2.26 on Debian GNU/Linux with
about 150 000 entries, when I run a search like this:

base: the top of the tree
scope: sub
filter: (ObjectClass=someOC)
attr: 3 attributes

this search performs on about 40 000 entries.

but always finish with segfault of slapd like this:

[pid 7104] pread(13, <unfinished ...>
[pid 7097] sched_yield( <unfinished ...>
[pid 7104] <... pread resumed>
"\0\0\0\0\1\0\0\0\10\0\0\0\365\v\0\0002\f\0\0*\0,\10\1\5"..., 4096,
32768) = 4096
[pid 7097] <... sched_yield resumed> ) = 0
[pid 7097] --- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) ---
Process 7059 detached
Process 7097 detached
[pid  7104] +++ killed by SIGSEGV +++

Anyone to help me?

I suggest upgrading to the latest 2.2 release and seeing if the problem still occurs (2.2.29).
