That's not going to solve anything.

This, slightly old, but mostly working (I may have managed to revert to
the older schema files by mistake) SRPM would be a better option:

http://plf.zarb.org/~bgmilne/openldap2.2-2.2.17-1obs.src.rpm

It builds on RHEL3 (maybe still 2.1 with some additional packages),
Fedora 1 and 2, and installs in parallel.

I have more up-to-date packages on my laptop (2.2.20).
