RE: slapd.conf files

Ah, it starts to make sense.

So the rootdn entry should be one of the following

rootdn	"cn=root,dc=qServer,dc=quantecllc,dc=com"
or
rootdn	"cn=root,o=quantec"

Right?

Or, I could remove the dc=qServer from the suffix and the existing rootdn
should work?

The error message wasn't all that clear to me, as I looked at the file and
said, "But it *is* under the suffix (entry)". Ah well, live and learn :)

Danke sehr!

Read the Error-Message!

rootdn must either end with
o=quantec or with
dc=qServer,dc=quantecllc,dc=com

> rootdn          "cn=root,dc=quantecllc,dc=com"
this does not fit.
