Looks like there are a number of problem cases when
the DN of the ref isn't the same as the DN of referral
entry.  That is, when the referred to object is not
immediately subordinate to the referral object.  I've
been meaning to update this code to implement the
latest namedref draft (which requires servers to return
of explicit DNs and scope).  I'll try to fix up
non-subordinate referrals at the same time.  So,
stay tuned...
