AutoACL is a contribware that implements sort of ACIs in a rather different manner. See ITS#3515 for details.

Its evaluation for integration into OpenLDAP got stuck at some point, so HEAD code might have diverged a bit.

It should be re-engineered as an overlay that provides only the access control method.
