Fantastic. Now keep that running as is (go to another window or something) and run your ldapsearch (or whatever) command that you want to work. Then debug messages will print. You can try reading them to see what's going on, or you can post them here if you don't see a conclusion.

Your method helped me very much.
I realized that I have to put my rule in other ACLs in order to work.
And I confirm that rules looking like by anonymous peername.ip=10.0.0.253 read works well.
