No idea.. What database backend is it using? I've never seen that

Berkeley DB.
At least 3 backends use Berkeley DB ;)
back-bdb
back-hdb
back-ldbm
So the above doesn't help much. ;)
Also, what version of Berkeley DB? What patches? ;)
