Note that users of BDB 4.3 have reported problems, especially around 4.3.27. If you are going to use 4.3, I'd suggest getting their latest version.



I will also note that it appears you are missing a DB_CONFIG file, which is an essential part of configuring and using OpenLDAP with the BDB backend.
