Hmm, could there not be a configure check for this patch? My initial
Mandriva cooker contrib package of openldap2.3 isn't too stable, and I
suspect this is the problem (due to one error message I saw to that
effect), but it would be quite tricky for people to track down without
knowing where to look ...
