Hi everyone,

I found the problem ; apparently the kernel was configured to allow a
maximum of 64 Mb of memory per process -- otherwise our
datawarehousing tool ( cognos ) crashes. :-/ I reduced the number of
threads to 8 and now slapd is stable. That's what you get when you buy
a badly ported windows programme ... Is there a prefork option
somewhere to slapd ?

Keep on slappin' :o) !

Peter.

| Did you pull in the 2 patches from Sleepycat for BDB-4.2.52? Also,
| OpenLDAP-2.1.29 is the current stable release.
