slapadd or ldapadd

I'm rebuilding a test server with OpenLDAP 2.1.25 w/BDB 4.2.52
This is just an excersize to test it out internally.

Before I took down the old server, I ran slapcat to get an ldif of the 
existing database.
Now it's time to build the new one.
Which is better/safer/faster for bringing up an entire database at one 
time, slapadd, or ldapadd?
Or does it really matter between the two?
