ldap_set_option and ldap_bind_s with Active Directory

I want to set up my LDAP connection to
Bind with a password that was encrypted with MD4-hash.

If I set my ldap_set_option  with LDAp_OPT_SIGN and LDAP_OPT_ENCRYPT
Then use ldap_bind_s with LDAP_AUTH_NEGOTIATE option will 
Microsoft Active Directory handle the MD4-Hashed password ?

Any info would help.
