LDAP Partial Replication

Is there any way to replicate just a subset of the attributes and object
classes associated with a dn? We are planning to have a master LDAP which
will contain e-mail addresses for e-mail name resolution and
usernames/password for authentication. Our idea with this partial
replication is to replicate usernames/password to the "authentication"
server and e-mail addresses to the mail-cache server. Is this possible?
