LDAP w/ HOSTS and clients.

hi,

I have LDAP at a level where 'ping' can lookup hosts
in the database. I ping a client, and it works. But
if I try to ssh to that client, then SSH can not
find the hosts.  An excerpt:


todd:/etc/pam.d# ping logan
PING logan.x.y.z (192.168.0.6): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 192.168.0.6: icmp_seq=0 ttl=255 time=0.5 ms

--- logan.x.y.z ping statistics ---
1 packets transmitted, 1 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max = 0.5/0.5/0.5 ms

todd:/etc/pam.d# ssh logan
ssh: logan: Name or service not known
todd:/etc/pam.d

Any suggestons would be apreciated.
