Peter,

we don't use back-ldbm, nor do we plan to.  If you can inform me of a way I 
can run a similar test against the back-bdb database seperate from slapd, 
I'd be more than happy to do so.  We are working on getting the issue to 
show up with a high-level of logging occurring, so we can get something 
from the slapd log, but are also working on a number of other testing plans 
as well, so it isn't being addressed right away.
