Selective replication?
It would be very handy if it was possible to:
a) select only sub-parts of the DIT for replication.
b) be able to do transformation (filter/rules) for the object during the
replication-process. like setting "*" as a *::userPassword attribute.
Then you could replicate your users into a redzone - but removing any
sensitive attributes / replace their values with empty/locked/safe ones.
Is this possible to put on the wishlist (or are the developers already
considering it?). Maybe a "meta-server product" handling these cases
wold be more appropiate?
