RE: Schema doubt

You can change it but its not supported in that manner. Create your own
schema and pull in inetOrg schema with the cn/uid attributes. You create
your own schema because it fits your organisations requirements, otherwise
you should try to re-use any existing definitions.

Subject: Schema doubt

Hi!

I'm having some trouble understanding how schemas work... I just made a
schema of my own using OpenLdap experimental directory
(1.3.6.1.4.1.4203.666.1.xxx).

I would like it to be compatible with "qmail" schema but this particular
schema does not accept the "cn" attribute. Am I allowed to change the
"qmail" schema by adding the "cn" attribute to the "MAY" options? I just
don't get if these schemas (the one that already made) can be modified or
not.

Thank you for your help.

Jon
