RE: ldap and mysql as backend



Looks like you are having trouble connecting to sql backend database.  Make
sure your config file has following entries accurately: database, dbname,
dbuser and dbpassword.

I trying to use my mysql database as backend for ldap 2.0.11.

I compiled ldap with --enable-sql and tryed the mysql sample but i only
got errormessages like:

Aug 10 09:46:40 asterixx slapd[2790]: backend_startup: bi_db_open 0
failed!
Aug 10 09:46:40 asterixx slapd[2790]: slapd stopped.
Aug 10 09:46:40 asterixx slapd[2790]: connections_destroy: nothing to
destroy.

assistance would be appreciated.
