some important questions....

hi,

I installed openldap and I configured slapd.conf , I creat ldif and 
converted it to ldbm by ldif2ldbm , but when I search entry , it's saying 
there is no object ,should I change some thing in schema?

Would you please explain me the configure openldap process step by step,if 
you do this I woulb be appriciate,
