grant read access but no search access? (telephone number)

Hi,

is there a way to configure the openLDAP slapd in such a way that
one can search for a telephone number of a given person but not
vice versa (look for a person that belongs to a given telephone
number).

I cannot figure out how to do this since read access right always
imply search access right.
