You tried the search base cn=users,dc=your,dc=domain,dc=com, with your dns
replacing your.domain.com ?

But I must admit I only succeeded to do so using the ldap sdk that comes
with Visual C/C++. I tried perl-ldap from NT to the Active DS and I got 0
results, using the same binddn.
