Hi,
the inetorgperson object supports the mail attribute which is used to store
a person's email address. take a look at the example LDIF files used for the
openLDAP tests.

you probably also should read the following books:
"Understanding and Deploying LDAP Directory Services" by Howes, Smith and
Good
"Implementing LDAP" by Mark Wilcox (me :)
