I think the more interesting thing is to push the XML document directly into a
LDAP server with out having a translation from XML->LDIF->upload.  One of the
great benefits of XML is the ease of being able to do transformations and
mappings from one XML dialect to another.  In this case, the transformaton would
be from the source XML document to the XML representation of one or more entries
in the LDAP server.
