building OpenLDAP
Sorry if this is a FAQ, but I'm having trouble proceeding with my
OpenLDAP setup after having built it. It fails on the first test,
with the following log:
slapd 1.0-stable (Fri Dec 11 13:11:43 EST 1998)

slapd starting
slapd got shutdown signal
slapd got do_nothing signal
slapd shutting down - waiting for 0 threads to terminate
slapd shutting down - waiting for backends to close down
ldbm backend syncing
ldbm backend done syncing
slapd stopping
I'm running on an alpha with Digital Unix 4.0, using gdbm as a
backend. Any suggestions?
