All of this is as intended.

If and when draft-zeilenga-ldap-cosine-xx.txt is published
as a Standards Track RFC obsoleting RFC 1274, I'll update
the definitions.  Until then, I think they should be left
as is.  I wouldn't want to presume that the IESG will
approve my I-D as recommended, especially before IETF
wide Last Call.
