Can not start sldap (ITS#1376)

Hi all,

I am intalling openldap 2.0.15 on RH Linux 7.1. Installation and testing are
done well. But when I started slapd:
/usr/local/libexec/slap -d 255

The message: sldap starting 
....

I had to wait for long time and stop it by Ctr+Z

Next, i used ldapsearch to check:
The error: cannot contact to LDAp server

anyone can guide me?
