In the case where one master is replicating 2 directories to the same slave the
"host" specified in the 2 replica directives can not be the same.  For example:

If both are specified as "host.domain:389" the replication will take place but
is
shown as being rejected in the *.rej file.  If one (but not both) is changed to
"host.domain" the replication still takes place, and the reject file is not
updated
in anyway.
