ASCII 32.

   Implementations MUST allow for space (' ' ASCII 32) characters to be
   present between name-component and ',', between attributeTypeAndValue
   and '+', between attributeType and '=', and between '=' and
   attributeValue.  These space characters are ignored when parsing.

I agree the list of characters in section 2 is insufficient and the 
next revision of this document will expand them to match the requirements
of the BNF.
