The OpenLDAP Foundation Overview

The OpenLDAP Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation with a charter to promote Open Source LDAP development. The foundation coordinates the activities of the OpenLDAP Project that it established in August 1998. The foundation is funded by generous contributions from sponsors.

Internet Hosting

The OpenLDAP Foundation offers internet hosting to open source LDAP projects. Projects can also obtain hosting from SourceForge. We recommend their services, especially for new projects. We do continue to offer alternative services to those projects which need them. Contact Foundation@OpenLDAP.org for details.

Sponsorship

The OpenLDAP Foundation is currently seeking corporate sponsorship and/or contributions to fund all aspects of the OpenLDAP Project. We also accept contribution of needed items. Interested parties are encouraged to contact the foundation.

The OpenLDAP Foundation also accepts individual donations. These donations are not tax deductable as charible contribution, but may be deductable as an operating expense (ask your accountant). These funds are used to promote and support OpenLDAP Project. Your personal check or money order can be sent directly to the foundation.
