For this I'm eternally grateful ;) I'll try SASL 2.1.20 first and see
what happens. We'll take it from there. FWIW I've no wish to go back to
the Cyrus SASL mailing list - so you risk getting pounded off list.
You're not a Bavarian by any chance?
