In my experience (we've got ldap clustered with LVS), clustering only
increases the complexity of the situation.  It's fine to, for example,
round-robin the read requests, but where to writes go?  Until multi-master
is mature (where writing to just one node ensures that all nodes get the
change),  clustering isn't a viable solution.
