There are a number of ports to non-Unix ports of OpenLDAP.

Of course, the most actively developed port is for Linux which (from
a developer standpoint) is very Unix-like.  

There is a port of the clients and ldap libraries for MS NT4 (requires
MSVC5).  OpenLDAP, at one time, ran on MacOS, however it might now be
sufferring from some bitrot.

Porting the libraries and clients to new platforms, in general, fairly
straight forward.  Porting the servers can be a bit more involved.

suggest you start a thread on our -devel list.
