so, I just need to add the index, like

dn: olcDatabase={1}mdb,cn=config
changetype: modify
delete: olcDbIndex

add: olcDbIndex
olcDbIndex: objectClass eq

... existing indexes...

olcDbIndex: mail eq

... other unique indexes...
