it builds fine on debian squeeze LTS 64bits, and the tests are ok
FYI, configure was run with the debian defaults:

./configure --prefix=/usr --libexecdir='${prefix}/lib'
--sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var --mandir='${prefix}/share/man'
--enable-debug --enable-dynamic --enable-syslog --enable-proctitle
--enable-ipv6 --enable-local --enable-slapd --enable-dynacl

--with-odbc=unixodbc
