I'd suggest you address questions about the code and how/why it works to openldap-software@openldap.org.
The openldap-technical list is supposed to be the technicalities of OpenLDAP interfacing with other software.
I also have yet to see an ITS from you on the issue you mentioned in your email with the subject "Syncrepl cookie and "reset by peer" message"
