slapcat on master vs. slave

I have two openldap 2.3.24 servers: a master with slurpd and a slave.

On the master (slapd and slurpd not running) I do:

[root@castor ~]# slapcat -v -l castor.ldif
# id=00000001
[snip]
# id=0000004c

On the slave (slapd not running) I do:
[root@pollux ~]# slapcat -v -l pollux.ldif
# id=00000001
[snip]
# id=0000004b

It seems that there is one more entry on the master
but the two ldif files are absolutely identical.

Can someone explain?
