Trouble installing OpenLDAP on FC3

Hello,

I am attempting to install OpenLDAP on FC3. After trying and failing to use the RPMs (openldap-2.2.29-1.FC3.i386.rpm seemed to install but would not start properly), I am trying to do it from source. Here is what I have done so far....

* Re-installed berkeley db from source (db-4.4.20)
* Re-installed openldap-2.3.20 from source using the following commands:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/lib" LDFLAGS="-L/usr/lib/libdb.so" ./configure --with-dblib=berkeley
make depend
make
make test

This the output I get:

root@ns1 [/var/tmp/openldap-2.3.20]# make test
cd tests; make test
make[1]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/openldap-2.3.20/tests'
make[2]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/openldap-2.3.20/tests'

There is no file: tests/test-db/master.log. In fact, there is no tests/test-db directory at all.

Any ideas?
