But, no standard "person" objectclass allows the attribute c (although
they allow l). With the schemas I have available, the only objectclass
that uses 'c' is 'country'.

Extend a "person" objectclass, or make an auxiliary objectclass that
allows 'c', or use other attribute names which are provided for in the
objectclasses you use.

Also, you may want to use software which has a schema browser available,
so you can check these things for yourself (they're normally a bit
faster to use than 'grep -ir <path to schema directory>').
