So I'm creating a Contacts directory and I would like some changes made to the LDAP Schema. For example I would like room for an alternate eMail address as well as an addition or two of fields.
My question is how do I go about this?. Do I just copy an existing definition for 'mail' call it 'altmail' and add it to the appropriate object class?
Is this even aloud in LDAP or is there a better way to make changes?
Make your own custom schema file, with your own OID, and include it.
