ExtensibleObject attribute and BDB backend

Hello, 
I am trying to use 
ExtensibleObject attribute and BDB backend 
(OpenLdap 2.1.4 running on a RedHat 8.0 machine);
 when I perform a search 
in some dn down the tree , I fail the first time, 
and in the second time I succeed. 

(The same works with no problem at all LDBM backend ) 

I have the same problem when using LDAP 
client (like LDAPBrowser of othe vendors) but again 
only when  using BDB  backend and not 
when usimg LDBM backend. 



Any idea ? 
Did any one encounter a similiar problem ?
