ldapsearch and linux 7.1

Hello,

I'm running RedHat 7.1 and I'm trying to use the ldapsearch utility to return
the password in the form 

{crypt}stW9GO0AJxmQk (I used "crypt" to store the passwords)


and not 


 :: e2NyeXB0fXN0VzlHTzBBSnhtUWs=


Can anyone point me in the right direction?
