I tried using openldap-2.0.7, ,2.0.11 and 2.0.12. But getting errors in the same place.
 
I'm using cc as my compiler. My configure command goes as follows: ./configure --with-ldbm-api=berkeley. (with db=3.1).
 
I tried using gcc(2.95.2), and got an error saying:

checking for gcc option to accept ANSI C... no
configure: error: OpenLDAP requires compiler to support STDC constructs.
 
Even when i try to compile base64.c (installed-dir/openldap-2.0.x/libraries/liblutil/base64.c) with cc, i get the same errors.
 
My Problem persists.

before, i used 2.0.7 for a long time

i use bd 3.2.9 (3.3.11 dont work)

with gcc 2.95.3, libtool and so on ...
what's precisely your conf ?
what's your configure command and environment when you launch it ?

I'm using cc compiler. (with gcc, i get error even while configuring as gcc
doesn't accept ansi c and requires some STDC constructs).
